Adobe Reader lets you print, annotate, comment and share documents. It is a PDF reader and has the ability to open and interact with all PDF content which includes multimedia and forms.
You can combine HTML, PDF, Microsoft Office, multimedia, TXT and images of png, bmp, jpg and tiff formats and reorganize the sequence of the pages before you export it in a single PDF.
You can protect your PDF from being copied or edited by applying a password. The FormsCentral can be used to create and distribute PDF forms which can be filled with any browser.
Another useful feature is the EchoSign which allows distribution of PDF to people for digital signature approval. Most PDF editors do not offer text reflow and the result is a distorted paragraph with gaps where the words have been deleted. But with Adobe Reader when text is deleted or added the paragraph reflows automatically. You can also change the formatting and the paragraph alignment. Editing on Adobe Reader is now a piece of cake you dont have to go back to the application such as Word to make the changes.
Developers have the freedom to use sticky notes, shapes, stamps, lines, highlight text etc. from the commenting tools to place the comments on the desired place in the PDF document.
