The CDex software is a freeware that can be used to extract audio files from compact disks and was first released in the year 2006. This software is also known as a CD ripper. In addition to extracting the audio files from a CD, the software is capable of converting the audio files into a format that is supported by the personal computer that includes, WAV, MP3, OCG, APE, and so on.
While the software is extracting the audio file from a CD, the software can check the meta data of the extracted file from the internet and can automatically update the extracted file with the meta data.
Further, the software is supported with a user-friendly interface along with a built-in media player and can be easily configured on the system. It allows the user to view the list of the audio files that are extracted from the CD. Additionally, the software allows the user to verify the tracks where the audio files are stored. Using the built-in media player, the user can choose the audio file to be played and the software enables the user to normalize the audio file. Also, the user can record the sound received from external devices that are connected through an analog input line.
