The Core FTP LE is a free secure FTP client that is provided at free of cost for personal, educational, non-profit, and business use. The FTP client is supported with various protocols such as SSL/TLS, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH/SFTP.
The Core FTP client supports the following activities: transferring files to a remote server, editing files, scheduling file transfers, enabling command line FTP, transferring files in either an Ascii mode or a Binary mode, facilitating encryption and decryption of files while transferring the files through an FTP client. Some of the ciphers that is available for encrypting and decrypting files are: AES (128 & 256 bit), Blowfish, Cast5, DES, DESX, 3DES (triple DES), RSA (1024 and 2048 bit).
Further, the Core FTP client provides HIPAA compliant security connection for data transfer established through SSL/TLS, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH/SFTP, protocols. Also, the FTP client can be run directly from a Flash / USB drive.
In addition to the above features, the Core FTP client supports remote file searching, FTP URL parsing, command line transfers, transfer bandwidth control, auto retry and resume of transfers, htaccess editing, advanced directory listings, queuing of multiple FTP transfers on multiple sites, auto reconnect, to name a few.
